Charles Euphrasie Kuwasseg (French, 1838-1904), Douarnenez in Brittany, Oil on Canvas, signed lower left, port scene with sailboats in a harbor, a town above and figures on the shore, plaque on frame engraved '"Douarnenez in Brittany" Charles Euphrasie Kuwasseg 1838-1904," in a giltwood frame, Kurt E. Schon New Orleans label and inventory label on verso. Frame size: 18 1/4 in. x 21 1/8 in.Measurements: Height: by sight 9 3/8 in. x Width: 12 1/4 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, minor loss to lower right corner of frame, some small spots of inpainting at far edges of canvas.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging.
