Signed, manuscript document signed while in exile, dated November 26, 1656, at Court in Bruges, a military commission appointing Edward Wod to be Colonel of a Regiment of Foot and giving him "full power & authority to leavy the full number of one thousand Men...And with the same to fight, kill & destroy all who are in arms against Us" and to "seize on any Fort, Castle, Towne or City in Rebellion against Us...", on vellum, with paper seal.
