Mark Catesby (British, 1679-1749), Pigeon Plum with Horned Caterpillar, Natural History Vol. II, Plate 94, Hand Colored Engraving, initial signed lower left, marked '94' top right, depicting a branch with purple fruit and a horned caterpillar, with label on verso 'Pigeon Plum, Prunus Virginiana, Natural History Vol. II, p. 94, engraving on paper, lent by Virginia and John Duncan', matted and framed. Frame size: 27 in. x 22 1/4 in.Measurements: Height: by sight 14 1/4 in. x Width: 10 3/8 in.
Condition:
Good condition, paper lightly toned, very minor foxing, not viewed out of frame.
