Overall fair condition, both boxes with wear, old marks and scratches, and losses, particularly to edges, the box with separation at seems, wear and minor losses to painted surfaces on interior, the lap desk with losses to edges, cracking and losses to leather and marble paper surfaces, staining and wear to fabric on interior, separation at hinges of writing surface.
