(Bavarian Royalty) Four Articles, comprising Ludwig II (1845-1886, King of Bavaria, 'The Mad King') document signed with seal (13 3/8 in. x 8 1/4 in., light toning, faint water spot lower edge, minor wear to edges, wear at creases from folding) and an unsigned carte de visite photo by J. Albert (3 3/4 in. x 2 1/2 in., toning, foxing wear to edges); Pilar (1891-1987, Princess of Bavaria, great granddaughter of Ludwig I and Isabella II of Spain) autograph letter signed in English to Mr. Hockerall, dated 7th April 1939 (11 5/8 in. x 11 1/4 in., toning, wear and small tears to edges, creases from folding, some tape at edges of folds); and Ludwig I (1786-1868, King of Bavaria) letter signed, in French with original envelope, regarding Maria Teresa's (1816-1867) birth of her son Ludovico Maria, dated 1838 (Size of letter: 9 in. x 7 1/4 in., both with toning, wear to edges, creases from folding).Measurements: Height: of largest 13 3/8 in. x Width: 8 1/4 in.
