American School, River Landscape with Figures, Oil on Canvas, depicting a river bank with a group of people crossing the river in a small boat, a couple seated under a tree, and another group sitting further back, a large house in the distance, in a giltwood frame. Frame size: 18 1/4 in. x 35 1/4 in.Measurements: Height: by sight, 12 1/2 in. x Width: 29 1/2 in.
Condition:
Overall fair condition, craquelure, small puncture to canvas lower middle, small tear to canvas middle in trees, surface dust, in need of cleaning, some wear to frame.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging.
