Description:

American Percussion Rifle with Powder Horn, 19th Century, with octagonal barrel, muzzle rod (31 in.), downward sloping stock with carved cheek weld and brass butt plate and trigger guard, and stamped 'H. T. Cooke, New York'. Barrel, 40 1/2 in., bore approx. .45 in. Together with a black and red painted powder horn with replaced leather strap.

Measurements: Length: overall 55 in.

Condition:

Overall good condition for age, old marks and scratches to wood, wear and pitting to metal, loss to wood by hammer. Powder horn with wear and losses to paint, some cracking to horn and small losses at tip.
