Description:
American Empire Mahogany Secretary Bookcase, c. 1830, in two parts, the upper section with shaped cornice above glazed doors opening to shelves, the lower section with hinged front opening to a baize lined writing surface, drawers and slots for ink, above cabinet doors, raised on bracket feet, the back with chalk inscription 'Savannah, GA'.Measurements: Height: 89 in. x Width: 47 1/4 in. x Depth: 20 1/4 in.
Condition:
Good condition, old marks, scratches and stains, stains to baize, age cracks, top with some old water damage and small losses to veneer.
