After Rembrandt, Jan Uytenbogaert, The Gold Weigher, Etching, signed and dated in plate on bottom of shelf 'Rembrandt 1639', depicting a seated gentleman with scale and log book handing a bag to a kneeling figure, with pencil inscription '…pesatore dell'oro di Rembrandt, C. by Hazard?', on verso, unframed. Size of image: 7 15/16 in. x 9 1/8 in.Measurements: Height: of paper 9 1/4 in. x Width: 8 1/8 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, trimmed, toning to paper, foxing, wear and small losses to edges, corners with glue/tape residue, probably from previous mounting, central horizontal crease.
