After Jules Dupre (French, 1811-1889), On the Road, Oil on Canvas, signed lower right, depicting a cart with figures on a dirt road, in a giltwood frame with artist plaque, with old lot label on verso, the original in the collection of the Art Institute Chicago. Frame size: 25 in. x 28 1/4 in.Measurements: Height: by sight 15 1/4 in. x Width: 18 1/2 in.
Condition:
Good restored condition, craquelure, scattered areas of inpainting, repaired holes and repaired tear with associated inpainting, wear and small losses to frame.
