John Webber was born in London in 1752. He was the draftsman on Captain Cook's third and final voyage to the South Seas. His drawings were the source for the engravings in Cook's 'A Voyage to the Pacific', published in 1784.MEASURMENTS: Height: of plate 10 5/8 in. x Width: 16 1/8 in.
