8 Framed Confederate Bank Notes, comprising $50, Charleston, 8 August 1853, $5, South Carolina, 7 April 1856, $2, Georgia, January 1st 1863, and $1, South Carolina, undated, matted and together in a green marbled frame, together with four $3 bills framed together including Georgia, January 1st, 1864, Chattanooga, Jan. 4 1863, North Carolina, 1 Jan. 1863, and Missouri, January 1 1862, matted together in a wood frame. Frame size of wood frame: 12 3/4 in. x 20 1/4 in.Measurements: Height: of $50, 3 in. x Width: 7 in.
Condition:
Good vintage condition, with toning and some wear to edges, not viewed out of frames, light wear to frames.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging.
