Description:
8 Angel- Form Ceramic Holy Water Fonts, 19th C, six with female angels holding a shell form font, in various colors, one unpainted marked 8468 on back, two identical and unmarked, angel with pink font marked 6058, largest marked 13548 Germany and other marked 3314, another with the angel holding a cross and one showing an angel with a child marked 11578, all mounted to hang.Measurements: Height: of angel holding cross, 7 7/8 in. x Width: 4 in. x Depth: 2 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, some wear to paint and gilt, unpainted angel with broken and repaired wing, pink font angel missing one foot, larger angel in green with yellow shell with broken and repaired font.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging. Complete condition reports are available by request, no later than 24 hours prior to the live auction.
