Description:
7 Chris Joyce Wood Sculptures, comprising a 9 in. lidded canister, signed and inscribed 'ceylon satin wood/ black wood' on underside; a double sided bud-form box with stand, signed and inscribed 'celon satinwood/ rosewood' on inside of one side; a curved box with carved finial on the lid, signed and inscribed 'Walnut, 2012' on underside (the lid with small magnet on one side to hold it in place); a small circular box, signed and inscribed 'blackwood' on underside; a 1 5/8 in. cube lidded box, signed and inscribed 'African blackwood, 2012' on inside of lid; and a crescent form box with sliding central compartment, signed and inscribed on underside 'Quilted Maple, 2013'. Provenance: according to the consignor these were purchased at Turtle Gallery, Stonington, ME.Measurements: Height: of crescent box 2 1/4 in. x Width: 14 5/8 in. x Depth: 7 1/2 in.
Condition:
