Description:

Group of 7 Chikanobu (Japan, 1838-1912) Woodblock Triptych Prints, c. 1895, from the series High-Ranking Ladies of the Tokugawa Era, comprising a triptych with court ladies and flower cart (some stains and foxing), a triptych with court ladies and chrysanthemum (stains to some corners), triptych with court ladies and musical instruments (some foxing and bleeding to red), Teahouse in a Countryside (some stains and bleeding to red), one depicting one lady painting surrounded by two others (minor foxing), one with ladies and screen (some stains), one with guests arriving with gifts with roosters in the foreground (crease and stain on left sheet, some scratches to right sheet). Each frame: 21 1/2 in. x 33 3/4 in.

Measurements: Height: by sight of each print 13 in. x Width: 8 3/4 in.
