Exhibited 'Figuratively Speaking', Indigo Sky Gallery, Savannah, 2012 David Delong studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in 1951/1958 and received a B.S. degree in painting from NYU in 1970. He once stated 'Realism has always presented a greater challenge to me than abstraction. To give life to life is very hard. You can copy it, or distort it. To make it live, whether it be a tree or a human figure is very difficult.'
