Louis XVI Ivory Fan, Circa 1780 and Napoleon III Mother-of-Pearl Fan, 19th Century, the mother-of-pearl fan mounted with lace and in a fitted box with label: "Marie Von Mendelssohn" (the composer Felix Mendelssohn's daughter), two spokes broken, tears and staining to lace, one end of lace unattached from mounting, wear to box with one hinge unattached. Height: 9 1/2 in. The ivory fan in a shadowbox frame, with painted figural vignettes with hand-sewn sequin surrounds on silk (some tears), with gilt ivory spokes with intaglio and abalone cameo carved figures (discoloration, not viewed out of frame and glass loose within frame and in need of cleaning).
