Description:
5 Various Oyster Plates, 19th C and Later, comprising a blue and peach oyster plate with impressed '57, 3829' on underside (wear and minor losses to blue and peach glaze, diameter 9 1/2 in.), a square oyster plate marked 'Registrirt, patient, 0714' on underside (wear to gilt edge and brown glaze, diameter 7 1/2 in.), an unmarked pink and white oyster plate (one edge of shell broken and repaired, light wear to glaze, diameter 10 in.), a blue and gold oyster plate with gold '35' and faint blue marks on underside (wear to gilt, diameter 9 1/4 in.), and a pink and purple oyster plate with impressed '765, 6' on underside (light wear to glaze, small firing crack on rim, diameter 9 in.).Measurements: Diameter: of square plate 7 1/2 in.
