Property from a Private Collector, Savannah, GA Suzhou Agate Snuff Bottle, 19th Century, the square flattened body well hollowed from the pale gray stone and carved in low relief on the front with a bat hovering over a fisherman seated beneath a weeping willow branch, his thatched cloak and part of the fishing pole incorporating a darker inclusion, the reverse silhouette carved with a stylized bird standing between low relief lotus, with stopper and Christie's lot sticker, Christie's Sale 5120 on February 23-24, 1982, Lot 317. Together with original corresponding Christie's catalog.
