Property from a Private Collector, Savannah, GA Belter Rosewood Settee and Open Armchair with Original Bill of Sale, Circa 1858, the scrolled back sofa continuing to sides, centering an over-upholstered serpentine-fronted seat, raised on cabriole legs on casters and a matching concave back open armchair with over-upholstered serpentine-fronted seat, raised on cabriole legs on casters. Together with a 19th century photograph of the suite belonging to Mr. E.J. Phillips, Esquire and two associated original bills of sale for the suite from J. H. Belter & Co., New York, one dated November 8th, 1858.
