Property from a Griffin, GA Estate 3 Royal Copenhagen Figurines of Children in Native Costumes, c. 1923, this series was designed by Carl Martin-Hansen and was given as a present from the women of Denmark to King Christian X and to Queen Alexandrine on their silver wedding anniversary in 1923. No longer manufactured. The series features children of the territories of Denmark under which King Christian the X ruled. One marked Amager 12412, one marked Slesvig 12417, and one marked Sjaland 12418.
