Property from a Private Collection, Miami Beach Endre Rozsda (Hungarian/French, 1918-1999), Pompes Royal, Oil on Canvas, the back of the stretcher marked 'Pompes Royal, Endre Rozsda 11 Rue de l'Epargne, Chatillon A/B Seine', with linen surround and giltwood frame. Frame size h 39 1/2 in. x w 46 1/2 in. The client purchased this from a Channel 2 Miami fundraiser in 1983. It came with an appraisal from The Fox Gallery, 922 Madison Avenue, New York, NY dated May 7, 1982.
