De la pauvre chere Ida - apres la 'Liberation' de 1945 - et pas dans les decors qu'Helene avait crees pour Ida ni avec mes costumes...'. Matted and framed, frame size: 22 3/8 in. x 28 1/4 in. Note the ballet Le Chevalier Errant, with choreography by Lifar, music by Ibert and decor and costumes by P. Flores was produced at the Theatre de l'Opera, Paris on April 26, 1950. Ida Rubinstein's production with Benois costumes was never realized.
