Garnett and Eleanor J.Ashby, Jacksonville, FL Wedgwood Octagonal Jasperware Brooch and a Small Plaque, Probably 18th Century, comprising a Wedgwood octagonal plaque, possibly depicting Marcus Curtius riding into a gulf of fire and smoke, inset into a metal brooch (steel surround with rust) and a plaque depicting a horse-drawn chariot in the sky surrounded by putti, impressed 'Wedgwood' on the back, on a lavender ground with blue leaf-tip decorated border. Size of octagonal brooch: 1 7/8 in. Size of horse-drawn chariot plaque: 1 3/4 in. x 1 in.
