Property from a Philadelphia Private Collection Unsigned, Possibly the Sharples Family, Pair of Portraits, 18th/19th Century, unsigned, portrait of woman with paper taped to back 'The first Russell Sturgis Son of Thomas Sturgis, Jr. and Sally Paine. He was born Aug 27, 1750, married Elizabeth Perkins Nov 13, 1773 and died Sept. 7, 1826…' and the other portrait with paper also taped to the back, in giltwood frames. Frame size: 10 5/8 in. x 9 1/2 in.
