Property from the Collection of Eleanor Sandy West, Ossabaw Island, Georgia Martha Odum (Georgia, 1917-1995), Easter Reflections Ossabaw Island, Watercolor on Paper, signed lower right, written on pen in back 'Easter Reflections, Ossabaw Island, April 6, 1969', unframed. 'The artist painted colorful coastal scenes of Georgia, California, Oregon, Maine, Portugal and northern France, as well as desert and mountain landscapes of Utah, Arizona and New Mexico. Odum, a native of Chicago, was an active member in the Athens art community for over 50 years while her husband taught ecology at the University of Georgia.' (from the Georgia Museum of Art)
