4 Etchings from Chippendale's Cabinet Maker's Director, from 'The Gentleman and Cabinet-Maker's Director: Being a large Collection of the Most Elegant and Useful Designs of Household Furniture, in the Most Fashionable Taste,' by Thomas Chippendale, The Third Edition, published in London, 1762, including 'Hanging Shelves' marked 'No. CXL.' upper left and 'T. Chippendale inv. et del., Published according to Act of Parliament, M. Darly Sculp.' along bottom, 'A Gothic Bookcase' marked 'No. C.' upper right and 'T. Chippendale invt. et delin., Published according to Act of Parliament 1761, T. Miller sculp.' along bottom, 'Pier Glass Frame' marked 'No. CLXIX' upper left and 'T. Chippendale invt et del, Published according to Act of Parliament, M. Dary Sculp.' along bottom, and an untitled etching depicting column types marked 'No. VII' upper left and 'T. Chippendale inv. et del., Pub. according to Act of Parliament 1753, T. Miller sculp.' along bottom, all matted and framed, each with title page of book affixed to back of frame. Frame size: 21 5/8 in. x 16 3/4 in.

Measurements: Height: by sight 14 in. x Width: 9 in.

Condition:

Overall good condition, some toning to paper and some foxing, not viewed out of frames.
