Charlotte Brieff (New York/Florida, b. 1921), Abstract Figural, Acrylic on Canvas, signed twice on the back of canvas, unframed. Charlotte Brieff was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 17, 1921. She went to James Madison High School and went on to continue her studies at the Parson School of Design in NY. She studied art for many years at the Arts Students League of NY with Morris Kantor. She had her own studio in NYC, painted for most of her life, and in addition to studio shows, she exhibited at the Parish Art Museum in South Hampton and the Betty Parsons Gallery, both in NY.
