Newton Bell, Jr. Estate 5 Pieces of Chinese Export Porcelain and a Japanese Lidded Jar, 18th Century and Later, comprising one 4 1/2 in. x 10 1/8 in. bowl with underglaze blue decoration, painted with chinoiserie figures (large crack with yellowed restoration on one side of bowl, wear to painted faces, inpainting on figure with black hat, frits to upper rim and edge of foot), one large bowl painted with chinoiserie figures at various pursuits (one large area and two medium areas with yellowed restoration to cracks and corresponding inpainting), a 4 in. vase painted with figures, a 4 1/2 in. dish (hairline crack running from rim with corresponding chip, two star-form hairline cracks on base), and a 8 7/8 in. soup bowl painted with female figure and two children in domestic scene (several chips and frits to outer edge of rim and edges of foot, hairline crack at rim). Together with a Japanese 4 3/4 in. lidded box with insert, decorated with orange and blue flowers, marked on the underside of base and lid.
