Property from the J. Newton Bell, Jr. Estate Pair of Chamberlains Worcester 'Bengal Tiger' Armorial Plates and 4 Other Pieces, 19th Century, comprising armorial plates decorated with Bengal tigers and central crest with rampant lion and deer, with motto banner 'Quis Prohibeat Sperare Meliora' which translates to 'Who will expect better', with 'H. Moog, Atlanta' sticker on underside of bases (with hairline cracks on bases of plates, one plate with chips and frits to foot), a 8 3/4 in. square-scalloped plate marked on the underside 'Chamberlains Worcester' (broken in half and restored), two similar handled unmarked teacups (the smaller with hairline cracks, crack to edge near handle and small frits to upper edge, the other with small frits to foot and small hairline crack to interior) and one unmarked 8 in. plate (with broken and repaired edge).
