Description:

21 Miscellaneous European Plates, including Sevres and Rosenthal , comprising six 6 in. Napoleon themed small transferware plates with central Napoleonic scenes and classical style green and gilt rims, with scene titles and 'N' on backs; six 6 in. Limoges hand painted floral plates, 5 signed 'Duval' and one signed 'Keti' all marked 'Limoges France, Alanterier & Co Limoges' on undersides; five 6 in. Rosenthal red rimmed and gilt plates with central floral designs, marked 'Rosenthal Ivory, Bavaria' on undersides; a Sevres transferware plate depicting a copy of a Angelica Kauffmann painting of a classical scene with red and gilt floral border, marked in green 'Prov. SXE, ES, Germany' and in blue 'Th.U.E., Mr., Sevres' (Diameter: 9 5/8 in.); 2 Russian transferware plates one depicting a chateau on a hill with river and figures with boats, the other depicting an estate with figures and trees, marked in Russian on undersides (Diameter: 10 3/8 in.); and Mottahedeh Hillwood Collection leaf-form plate, labeled 'The Hillwood Collection, reproduction of leaf dish from the service od the Order of Saint George made for Catherine the Great, Russia, Gardner Factory, 1780, Mottahedeh, Visa Alegre, 1824, Portugal, 26'.

Measurements: Width: of leaf plate 12 in. x Depth: 9 1/8 in.

Condition:

Overall good condition, all with light wear and scratches, Russian transferware plates with restored losses and worn bases.
