2 Wells Fargo Stage Coach Robbery Award Posters, 1875, two reward posters for robbery of Wells Fargo express boxes, the first "on Coast Line Stage Co's Route, from Soledad, was Robbed this morning, by two men," dated "San Francisco, July 15, 1875," the other "on Sonora and Milton Stage Route, was robbed this morning near Reynold's Ferry, by one man, masked and armed with a sixteen shooter double-barreled shot gun," dated "San Francisco, July 26, 1875," both with 'JNO. J. Valentine, Gen Supt' lower right, each offering a $250 reward, both floating in wood frames. Frame size of larger, 12 in. x 15 1/8 in.

Measurements: Height: by sight of larger, 9 7/8 in. x Width: 11 7/8 in.

Condition:

Overall good condition, the larger with dampstaining to left side and bug damage affecting first letter, toning to paper of each, smaller with pinholes in corners and wear to lower left edge, light wear to frames.
