Description:
Two Turned Wood Bowls, Carved and Painted Wood Bird, and Group of Wood and Glass Eggs, comprising two turned wood bowls by Betty Scarpino (IN, b. 1949), both signed and dated on bottoms, the taller dated 1996, the wider dated 2000, together with a carved and painted wood sculpture of a long-billed curlew seated on a log signed F. Smead, numbered 27 and dated 1988 on bottom and 25 wood and glass eggs of varying colors and sizes.Measurements: Height: of bird sculpture, 10 1/8 in. x Width: 11 in. x Depth: 5 1/4 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, general wear and some scratches, particularly to bottom of wider bowl, small mark to top of bird's head.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging.
