17 Wooden Japanese Kokeshi Dolls, hand carved wooden vintage Kokeshi dolls, one pair with body painted red and black with painted eyes, mouth and black hair, taller 18 in, shorter 14 1/4 in, both signed on bottom, a pair with green paint detailed on body with carved stripes and carved bobbed hair, taller 16 1/2 in., shorter 11 1/2 in., both signed on bottom, a pair of unfinished wood with carved and textured hair, dark eyes and mouth, taller 13 3/4 in., shorter 12 3/4 in., shorter with stamped signature, a pair of identical unfinished wood dolls with etched features and attached top, both 6 1/2 in., both with stamped signatures on bottoms, a pair of identical slender dolls, with polished heads, hair and features painting in black, and bows affixed to the backs (one bow loose), both 18 1/8 in., one stamped on bottom, one tall with painted black kimono, grey hair and bun, tilted head and smiling, 24 1/8 in., signed and stamped on bottom (speckled paint), one unfinished wood with etched starburst pattern and carved hair, 9 1/2 in., signed on bottom, one very oval with fanleaf pattern, 9 1/2 in., unmarked, one with dark and light wood making kimono design, with hair and bun, 7 3/4 in., unmarked, another with etched kimono and bangs, 8 1/2 in., stamped signature on bottom, one tall with painted black and red flowers on front and painted hair, with light patch on face, 17 5/8 in., signed on bottom, and one conical with deeply etched face and light bangs, 16 3/4 in., unmarked (head slightly loose), with three wooden signs (one repaired), and including nine original boxes.

Overall good condition, some light wear to paint or polish, boxes worn, see description.

PAYMENTS. Payments are expected within 7 calendar days of receiving your invoice. You will pay us the total purchase price for a lot by credit card (UP TO $5,000), cash (US currency not to exceed $10,000 in a single or multiple related payments), check, or wire transfer, before the property can be removed. Everard Auctions and Appraisals requires payment by wire transfer, check, ACH or cash (up to $10,000) for jewelry, watches and precious metals for all New and/or International buyers. You must quote your invoice number when making a payment. A Convenience Fee of approximately 3% will be applied to all US credit card payments, and non US credit cards approximately 4%. No fee will be levied if payment is made by Wire Transfer, Cash or Check. Please note a flat $15 fee for wire transfers should be included in the amount wired. For all payments made by check, we reserve the right to hold the merchandise for 7 Business days or until cleared or certified funds are provided. The purchaser will be charged $35.00 for each check returned for insufficient funds. Additionally, all payments made after 30 days will be subject to a 1.5% Late Payment Fee which will continue to accrue and compound per each additional 30 day period.
