Description:
11 European Silver, Ceramic, and Metal Boxes, 19th C and Later, comprising an octagonal box inset with a compass (now obscured by crazing to glass and with age cracks and losses) decorated with stars, two similar English sterling silver boxes (both with losses and cracks to lids), a sterling silver vinaigrette, an unmarked silver match box, French porcelain box, probably Samson, a European porcelain oval box, probably 18th century, a smaller Limoges oval porcelain box and angel box, both modern, a Napoleon pill box, a pewter snuff box and a metal tobacco box with crest and initials and a note stating it was made by Grandma Schofield's great grandfather and engraved by him approximately 1780 (dents and wear).Measurements: Height: 1 1/2 in. x Width: 4 1/8 in. x Depth: 3 in.
