Description:
10 Piece Limoges Hand-Painted Porcelain Game Bird Set, 19th Century, comprising 9 plates with gilt and teal rims painted with various game birds, and a matching oval serving platter, all signed in centers 'L. Martin' and marked 'Theodore Haviland, Limoges, France' and impressed 'H & L' on undersides (one plate unsigned). Size of platter: 18 1/2 in. x 13 1/4 in.Measurements: Diameter: of plates8 7/8 in.
Condition:
Good condition, general light wear, some small scratches to central designs, wear to gilt on handle of platter.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging.
