Leonardo Nierman, Abstract with Moon, Oil on Board, (New York/Mexico, b. 1932) signed lower left, floating in a giltwood frame. Frame size: 38 1/2 in. x 30 3/4 in.

Leonardo Nierman is a Mexican abstract artist whose work is inspired by nature and classical music, as well as the work of artists such as Joan Miro, Wassily Kandinsky, and David Alfaro Siqueros. Nierman's work can be found in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the Detroit Institute of the Arts, the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico, and the Indianapolis Museum of Art, as well as many other private and public collections.

Measurements: Height: of board 31 1/2 in. x Width: 23 1/2 in.

Good condition, wear to edges of frame, board slightly loose upper right corner.
