After Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse, Two Large Neapolitan Figures, Bronze, (French, 1824-1887), one of a Neapolitan circus boy with a small chimpanzee on his back and a similar hatted barefoot Neapolitan youth with a lute, each signed on the base.
Provenance: purchased New Orleans Auction, November 20th, 2004, Lot 1255.
Measurements: Height: of boy with chimp 28 1/2 in. x Width: 12 in. x Depth: 8 1/2 in.
Condition:
Good condition, chimp with missing tail.
